How to Find Someone in New Visions

Searching for an inmate in the New Visions will require you to search the database that is brought to you by the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

This database will have the inmate roster for the New Visions and other state facilities that is owned by the Federal Department of Corrections.

You can search this roster by:

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Sending mail to the New Visions is one privilege that an inmate has. An inmate can receive mail from their loved ones, and they can send mail to their loved ones.

Keep in mind that it may take a few extra days after your mail it to the facility for the inmate to get it. The mail is all opened and thoroughly checked for contraband prior to being distributed to inmates in the New Visions.

You are asked to put your return address on every envelope you will send to the New Visions.

Sending Money

Visitation

Before you can even think about visiting an inmate in the New Visions, you will be required to fill out the following form.

You will be required to wait until the inmate in the New Visions tells you that you’ve been approved to visit.

Visitation will be held on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 9 am to 3 pm. If you arrive after 2 pm, you will not be permitted to visit.

You can arrive as early as 8:15 am to the New Visions.
