Within the last year alone, the Prineville City Jail has booked and processed over 8,300 offenders and released just under 8,400 offenders.

With the number of offenders booked, there were a minimum of 3,00 jail days that were saved thanks to the Prineville City Jail’s inmate work program that they offer their offenders. During this year, the inmate work program was run by the Public Works in the Prineville City. The Public Works allowed inmates to clean up lots that were abandoned after the tornados.
