Sending Money
One way to send money to an inmate is by sending a money order addressed to the inmate. This will take longer than other methods. You should call Monona County Jail for more information about where to send the money order. Usually, the money order is made out to the name of the inmate.
You should be able to walk in and deposit money into an inmate’s account, as well.
The Monona County Jail may have an agreement with a third-party company that allows individuals to send care packages to inmates for a fee. These care packages can be ordered online and are delivered directly to the inmate, as well.
The standard monthly limit an inmate can spend is around $300-$400.

Visitation
No inmate can have more than two visitors at one time. Additionally, once a visitor exits a facility, they will not be allowed to re-enter. Visitors at Monona County Jail are expected to adhere to a code of conduct, and no contact is permitted during visits.
Female inmates can schedule visitation through their jail supervisor. Male inmates have visitation hours of 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Fridays.
Only adults (over the age of 18) are permitted. It must be filled out before 5 PM on the Thursday prior to the week of any planned visit.

They also cannot bring food and/or drink into the facility, as well. They cannot bring in backpacks, tote bags, sunglasses, hats, or wallets, either.
