Inmates can send you and receive your letters. Inmates mail will be checked by a correctional officer prior to being hand delivered to the inmate it is made out to.

Sending Money

Inmates will need money for their commissary account when they are in the Winfield Jail. The Winfield Jail accepts money orders. You can drop off the money order in the Winfield Jail lobby.

Phone calls are a staple in the Winfield Jail. The telephones are in the common areas. The telephones are available for use from 7 am to 10 pm. Inmates are limited to having 15-minute length conversations.

Visitation

When visiting an inmate, you will need to have a proper photo identification card with you. You will be required to be dressed appropriately and be at least 18 years of age.

The Winfield Jail can refuse your visit for any reason they see fit. A visit here at the facility is a privilege and not a right.
