Sending a Mail/Care Package
All incoming and outgoing mail/packages are inspected by the staff of the FCI Forrest City Medium. The staff encourages the inmate’s loved ones to stay in touch with the inmate by sending letters. Please do not send anything that may be offensive or sexual.
Books, magazines and newspapers can be sent directly from the publisher to the prison. Make sure that all reading material sent to the inmate is paperback and new or the inmate will not receive it.

Money Order - Money orders can be sent directly to the prison via United States Postal Service. The inmate will have to wait a while before the funds are in their account and available to spend. The inmate’s full committed name as well as their eight-digit register number will need to be on the money order.
Phone calls
A majority of the inmates at the FCI Forrest City Medium are allowed to have phone time, unless they have restrictions to privileges. Typically the inmate is the one responsible for paying for the phone calls unless the inmates is making a collect call then the individual receiving the call is the one that will be paying for the phone call. The prison staff monitors and records all phone calls.

The inmate will need to fill out their portion on this form then send it to you so you can fill out your portion. You will then need to send it back to the inmate.
