Maricopa County Tent City Jail is a medium-security detention center that is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The city once had the highest suicide rates of any other city in the country. Most of the inmates sentenced here will not be serving longer than two years in jail.

Phone calls

There are phones located in inmate “pods” that can be accessed on two days: Saturday and Sunday. The phones can be used from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Maricopa County Tent City Jail staff can deny rights to the phone as a disciplinary action.

Visitation

All visitors are checked at the front lobby. Visitors that are 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian. Visitors also cannot carry personal items into the visitation area.
